Parkway Medical Center is delighted to announce the addition of Decatur’s newest Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. Mistye Taylor of Parkway Women’s Care.

“Since the establishment of the Pavilion for Women and Children at Parkway Medical Center, Women’s Services has been a top priority for us.  We believe that the addition of Dr. Taylor to our medical staff will greatly enhance our commitment to the women in our community, and we plan to continue to expand and reinvest in that tradition.” said Tim McGill Parkway CEO.

Born in Nashville, TN, Dr. Taylor received her BS from Tennessee State University where she graduated Cum Laude and her MD from Meharry Medical College in Nashville.  She completed her OBGYN residency with Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

“Women are concerned about their health and that of their families.  They seek healthcare information and treatment options to improve the quality of their lives and their overall health.  I am here to help them on that journey.” said Dr. Taylor.

Dr. Taylor and her two children are looking forward to “moving south” and making Decatur their new home.
